Jamba Juice Nutrition Calculator
Pick a smoothie, see Jamba's own figures for it, then see what the same drink costs you at home.
Jamba builds most of its classics on fruit juice and sherbet, so the sugar column moves faster than the calorie column does. Use the menu picker below to pull up their own published figures for any of their best-known smoothies. Rebuilt at home with whole fruit and a plain liquid, our versions of the same drinks land between 150 and 284 calories.

There is no official Jamba calculator, so this page does the same job: the menu picker below holds Jamba’s own published figures for their best-known smoothies, and the table under it shows what happens when you rebuild those drinks yourself. If you want to price a blend of your own instead, use the smoothie calorie calculator.
Jamba more or less invented the American smoothie shop, and the recipes that made it famous are closer to a juice bar than to the fruit-and-yogurt blend most people picture. Read the ingredient panels and you find juice blends, sherbet and sorbet doing most of the work. That shows up in one column more than any other.
So read the sugar column first. Among the fruit smoothies, calories and sugar do not rank the same way, and the one with the most calories is not the one carrying the most sugar. Protein is the other giveaway: several of the classics have barely any unless you order a version built around it.
What Jamba publishes
Every row is the Large size, the biggest cup Jamba lists for these drinks; the smaller sizes are the same recipe scaled down. Read down the sugar column rather than the calorie column and the ranking changes.
Building it yourself comes in 300 calories under the menu version. Strawberries, bananas and apple-strawberry juice.
The same drinks, rebuilt in your own blender
Single servings, each smaller than a Jamba large, summed from the Smoothie Calculator ingredient database rather than from anyone else’s menu. The first four track the menu recipes with whole fruit standing in for the sherbet; the last two swap the juice base out entirely.
Why the Jamba numbers land where they do
On Razzmatazz, Jamba’s own ingredient panel puts orange sherbet second, ahead of the strawberries and bananas. Sherbet is sugar, water and a little dairy, frozen solid. It does the job ice does in a home blender, except that it sweetens the drink while it thickens it.
Strawberries Wild runs on apple-strawberry juice. Caribbean Passion runs on a passion fruit-mango blend. Razzmatazz starts with a grape juice blend. Juice arrives already stripped of the fiber that would have slowed it down, so the sugar column climbs before any fruit is added.
Jamba sells these in small, medium and large, and the bigger cup is not simply a bigger cup of ice. Every part of the recipe scales together, juice and sherbet included, which is why moving down one size is the single easiest change you can make to any of these drinks.
The fruit classics are fruit, juice and sherbet, so protein barely registers on most of them. Jamba sells protein versions and protein boosts precisely because the base recipes are not built for it. If you want a smoothie that holds you until lunch, that is the line to look at.
Apple 'n Greens is the lightest row on this table, and it does come in under the tropical blends on both columns. But the greens are a small part of a drink still built on juice and fruit. Lighter than the classics is not the same thing as light.
How to order lighter, or rebuild it at home
The recipe is fixed, so the only lever on the menu is the cup. Dropping from large to medium takes the same proportion off every column at once, and it needs no substitutions and no conversation at the counter.
Before you order, ask whether the drink starts with juice, sherbet or milk. That single answer tells you more about where it will land than the fruit in the name does, and it separates the rows at the top of the menu table from the ones at the bottom.
The fastest way to rebuild any of these is to keep the fruit and change the liquid. Unsweetened almond milk in place of a juice blend removes a sweetener without touching the flavor you actually came for, as the lighter rows in our table show.
Sherbet is there for texture as much as for sweetness. Frozen mango, pineapple or peach thickens a blend the same way, and frozen cauliflower does it with almost nothing added. Test the swaps in the substitution calculator.
